Rainaway TV set
Rainaway TV is a rain deflector which allows for uninterrupted camera operating in any wet conditions. It is designed to keep raindrops, mist and moisture as well as light solid debris like dust off the camera lens. Rainaway combines spinning glass, hydrophobic coating and active airflow to keep your lens clean and fog-free.

How does it deflect water?
The Rainaway TV deflects water by spinning the glass at high speeds. Higher speed = better performance. Extra effectiveness is added by the hydrophobic coating on both sides of the glass.
Does it make any noise?
We aim to have the quietest product on the market, but spinning the glass at such high revolutions inevitably makes some noise. Lower speed = less noise.
Will there be any fog on the inside of the glass?
Rainaway has an intergrated active ventilation system which prevents fog on the inside of the glass or the front of the lens. Some fog may be temporarily introduced when rapidly changing enviroments and the Rainaway is not running, but starting the glass will get rid of it quickly.
Does the rain deflector vibrate?
The Rainaway runs very smoothly even at high speeds. It will be perfect even for long zoom lenses and gyro stabilized / remote heads.
What lenses does it fit?
Rainaway TV will directly fit to any lens with a diameter of 95mm, there is no vignette even with Canon HJ14.
A 98mm version is available by request.
Adapters can be used for smaller diameter lenses.
How is it powered?
The rain deflector can be powered in the range of 12VDC - 30VDC. It has a super low running power consumption of 0.3A - 0.7A. (Standby current: 0.02A). It comes with a power cable with a connector of your choice.
